Stash is a local-deals membership app for College Station, TX. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Phone number — used to sign you in with a one-time text message code.
Membership status — whether your membership is active, and when it renews. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
Redemption history — which deals you revealed a code for, and when.
Referral code — a short code generated for your account.
Basic technical data — standard server logs (such as IP address and device type) kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

Location — if you allow it, the app reads your device location to show nearby deals and distances. It is used on your device and is not sent to or stored on our servers.
Notification token — if you turn on deal alerts, we store a device token so Apple can deliver them. You can turn alerts off in Profile at any time, which deletes the token.

How we use it

To sign you in and keep your account secure.
To provide your membership and show you deals and codes.
To show nearby deals and send deal alerts you opt into.
To process billing and prevent fraud or abuse.
To respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data only to run Stash: Supabase (database and sign-in), Twilio (sending verification texts), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and Apple (delivering push notifications). We may also disclose information if required by law.

Text messages

We send text messages only to deliver the one-time verification code you request when signing in. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Phone numbers collected for texting are never shared with third parties for marketing.

Retention and deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and redemption history and cancels any active membership. Stripe may keep transaction records as required for tax and legal purposes.

Children

Stash is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
